RE: AUTHORIZE PAYMENT TO PANHANDLE EASTERN FOR. PIPE RELOCATION
ON WELD COUNTY ROAD 13 FOR THE PURPOSE OF ENCUMBERING FUNDS
ONLY.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado; pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, in 1979, as part of the construction on Weld County
Road 13, it was necessary to direct Panhandle Eastern to relocate
their pipeline which was located in the right-of-way of Weld
County Road 13, and
WHEREAS, Panhandle Eastern has recently submitted their bill
for said relocation of their pipeline, -and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has questioned some of: the
charges submitted in said bill and requests that the Board of
County Commissioners authorize the payment of the bill to Pan-
handle Eastern for the purpose of encumbering funds only.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado hereby authorizes the payment
of the bill submitted by Panhandle Eastern for the purpose of
encumbering funds only.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 31st day of
December, A.D. , 1980.
