To Whom It May Concern:
Platte River Power Authority (Platte River) plans to develop, construct,
and operate a transmission line in Weld County, Colorado. As Platte River's
consultant, EDAW, is facilitating the permitting process for the transmission
project. Part of this process requires Platte River to apply for a 1041 permit with
Weld County.
One requirement of the permit application is that Platte River must locate
and identify all utility easements or rights-of-way for telephone, gas, electric,
water and sewer lines. Through our research and title work, we believe that your
company may have some facilities in the vicinity of the planned project. Attached
is a map illustrating the boundary of the proposed transmission line project.
Platte River and its consultant, EDAW, would like to know if your company
has any easements or rights-of-way located in the area illustrated on the
attached map and if so, if you would be able to share the location thereof. We
are more than willing to enter into a confidentiality agreement, if necessary. If
you would review this information at your convenience and respond to me, I
would be most appreciative.
