United Power is not proposing any facilities that will utilize water. The electrical
substation will not be occupied. United Power will not have any staff that is based out of
this location, so restrooms or hand washing facilities are not necessary.
United Power is proposing to re-seed the area that is disturbed during construction with
native grasses that do not require continual irrigation. Therefore, water for irrigation
purposes is also not needed.
DOCUMENT SHOWING EVIDENCE OF ADEQUATE SEWAGE DISPOSAL
There will be no offices, full time employees or personnel at the electrical substation.
Only maintenance personnel will be accessing this site from time to time. Therefore,
United Power does not need to provide restrooms or hand washing facilities.

RE: Service Information
Dear Mr. Maxey;
You have inquired about the availability of domestic water service to a property on which
United Power would like to build a substation. The property in question lies in the NW Corner of
the SE 1/4 of Section 28, T3N, R68 West of the 6th Principal Meridian in Weld County, Colorado.
• Additionally,Weld County Planning has requested similar information regarding the existing
residence and the"outlot"to be created on the Slater Property as a result of this property division.
All ofthe property is within the Longs Peak Water District service area.We currently provide
service to the residence (LPWD Tap #00180006) and we will be the providers of domestic water
service to the remainder of the property should that service be requested either now or in the future.
We currently have capacity available for service in that area to provide service to the substation.
Should service be requested for the"outlot", we would consider the request, determine the number
of residential lot equivalents (RLE's) to be served and determine what, if any improvements to
District facilities would be required to provide service. All necessary improvements would be done
at the expense of the person or organization requesting service, which is standard District policy.
I hope this provides you with the information you requested. If you have questions or should
you need additional information, please contact me.
Best Regards,
1

On September 18,2007,an evaluation of the existing individual septic disposal system at:
13433 County Road 7,Longmont;
Section 28,Township 03 North,Range 68 West,
was conducted by Stephen J.Wiatrowski,an Environmental Health Specialist of this department.
This evaluation is based on a final treatment capacity for a 3 bedroom residence.
There is not enough information provided to determine if the system is adequate. No visible signs of failure
were observed at the time of inspection.
Be advised, neither the County of Weld nor any of its agents or employees undertake or assume any
liability to the owner of the above property,to any purchaser of the above property or to any lending agency
making a loan on the above property or in the report.
This inspection was conducted for the purpose of determining compliance with current regulations and for
detecting health hazards observable at the time of inspection. This does not constitute a warranty that the
system is without flaw or that it will continue to function in the future. Inspections requested during
periods of snow cover and high soil saturation may be of questionable value to potential buyers due to
adverse conditions. Evaluations based on Statements of Existing(S.O.E.)relies on information the
property owner provides, under oath, indicating current status of the system and representing to the best of
his/her knowledge the system is not failing to function properly.
If we can be of any further assistance, please contact our office at(970) 304-6415.
Sincerely,
