CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
1) This web shall be used in such a way as to cause no material Injury to existing water rights. The issuance of this permit
does not assure the apps that no injury wB occur to another vested water right or prelude another owner of a vested
water right tom seeldng relief in a civil court action.
2) The construction of this well shall be hn compliance with the Water Well Construction Rules 2 CCR 402-2,unless approval
of a variance has been granted by the State Board of Examiners of Water Well Construction and Pump Installation
Contractors in accordance with Rule 18.
3) Approved pursuant to CRS 37-92.602(3)(c)for the relocation of an existing wall,permit no. 2-710141
The old well must be plugged in accordance with Rule 16 of the Water Well Construction Rules within ninety(90)days of
completion of the new well The enclosed Well Abandonment Report form must be completed and submitted to affirm that
the old well was plugged.
4) The use of ground water from this well is limited to lire protection,ordinary household purposes Inside not more than l
single family dwell g(s),the irrigation of not more than 1 acre of home gardens and lawns,and the watering of domestic
animals.
5) The total depth of the well shall not exceed 50 feet or the depth to the first confining day/shale series,whichever comes
first
6) The maximum pumping rate of this well shall not exceed SO GPM.
7) This well shall be constructed not more than 200 feet from the location specified on this permit.

Dear Mr.Abode:
I have reviewed your letter dated March 28.2008 in which you request verification from our
office that that uses allowed under well permit no.241019-A are consistent with the proposed uses on
the property. Our office has performed a cursory review of the submitted Information and the relevant
Information evadable in the State Engineer's Office. The comments provided below do not address
the adequacy of the water supply for the project or the ability of the water supply pan to satisfy any
County regulations or requirements. In addition,the comments provided herein cannot be used to
guarantee a viable water supply plan or infrastructure,the issuance of a well permit,or the
physical availability of water.
According to your letter,your property is currently served by well permit no.241019-A. The
uses allowed under permit no.241019-A are the protection,ordinary household purposes inside not
. more than 1 single family dwelling.the irrigation of not more than 1 are of home gardens and lawns
and the watering of domestic animals. You are currently rezoning your property to allow the storage of
roofing materials,trucks,trailers,and equipment on the property. According to your letter there will be
no water requirements associated wilt,the storage. In addition,according to a phone conversation
with you on March 31,2008,the existing home is the only structure on the properly with drinking and
sanitary facilities and the contractors accessing the property to pick up stored materials will not use
those facilities. Since no water from the well will be used for any purpose associated with the storage
facilities,the well can continue to be used to serve the property.as currently permitted,as long as the
well Is operated under the terms and conditions of the well permit.
