PERMIT TO CONSTRUCT A WELL
CONDITIONS OF APPROVAL
1) This well shall be used in such a way as to cause no material injury to existing water rights. The issuance of this permit
does not assure the applicant that no injury will occur to another vested water right or preclude another owner of a vested
water right from seeking relief in a civil court action.
2) The construction of this well shall be in compliance with the Water Well Construction Rules 2 CCR 402-2,unless approval
of a variance has been granted by the State Board of Examiners of Water Well Construction and Pump Installation
Contractors In accordance with Rule 18.
3) Approved pursuant to CRS 37-90-105.
4) Water from this well may be used for domestic purposes Inside one(1)single family dwelling.
5) The maximum pumping rate of this well shall not exceed 15 GPM.
6) The annual withdrawal of ground water from this well shall not exceed 3 acre-feet.
7) The irrigated area shall not exceed 1 acre of lawn and garden.
8) Production is limited to the alluvium of Lost Creek or its tributaries. The depth of this well shall not exceed 110 feet or the
depth at which sandstone or shale is first encountered,whichever comes first.
9) This well must be constructed within 300 feet of the location specified on this permit.

Book 1294 at Page 150,records of said county,being more particularly described as follows:
Considering the West Line of the Northwest Quarter of Section 6 as bearing North-South and with all
bearings contained herein relative thereto:
BEGINNING at the Northwest Comer of the Northwest Quarter of said Section 6; thence along the West
Line of said Northwest Quarter South 809.20 feet to the Northerly Right of Way of Interstate Highway No.
85; thence along said Northerly Right of Way South 67°44'00" East 1047.80 feet to the beginning of a
tangent curve being concave to the Northeast,having a central angle of 17°00'43"and a radius of 1500.00

I am returning the enclosed well permit applications to you for clarification and correction.
Please review the following items and amend them as necessary by dating and initialing any and
all corrections with black ink.
• The attached well permit applications were submitted on the incorrect forms. The •
permit application forms do not request vital information required in the evaluation
process. Please complete the attached application forms then return them to our office
for further processing.
• Please provide Meets-and-Bounds legal descriptions, of the tracts of land on which
the well will be located. The legal descriptions provided do not contain adequate
information to plot the boundaries of the property.
• You may choose to specify only a 35+ acre parcel, as the tract on which the well will
be located. This will allow you to place other wells on the remaining property more
easily.
When resubmitting your application and enclosures, please review this letter and use it as a
check list to insure that all items discussed have been adequately, corrected and/or clarified. Once
your corrected application is resubmitted to this office, it will be merged into the applications
currently being reviewed. This should expedite your application through the final stages of review.

Sanitary Sewer Disposal Method
At this time, no particular use has been identified for the proposed rezoned Lot A. The specific
use of the property will have some bearing on the type of sanitary sewer facilities needed. At
present time, the Town of Roggen does not offer public sewer North of I-76. Therefor, at present
time, some sort of septic system is planned for any future development. The County will have
further opportunity to comment on this issue when a Site Plan Review is conducted on any future
submittals, if this site should be developed.
