Description Category: SOI
This is a deep well drained soil on smooth plains and alluvial fans. It formed in mixed
wind deposits and parent sediment.Typically the surface layer is brown and pale brown
loam about 12 in.thick.Permeability is moderate.Available water holding capaci
ty is high.The effective rooting depth is 60 in.The hazard of water erosion is low,while
that due to wind is high.
