Ioana Comaniciu, Office of the State Engineer, has been working closely with us to resolve various water issues related to this property. We arrived at the current solution by dropping the PUD to six estate lots and the conservation easement. We will be applying for 6 individual well permits according to state allowances at 17.5 acres per well. It was also discovered that the water rights under this parcel were not contiguous due to the water rights of Lots A and B dissecting Lot C. To correct this problem we had the well boundary lines redrawn Please see attached for clarification. Currently, the water rights and available acreage will support 6 individual wells. We will apply for these once Weld County has approved the necessary property lines. Ioana was an integral part of this process and is very familiar with this project. She has helped us to reach this juncture and will be able to verify the above. Please also note that after explaining the above to the Weld County Attorney's Office, Lee Morrison gave us permission to continue on to the Change of Zone.
