• RESOLUTION 142
RE: RECOGNITION OF Joyce Smock
WHEREAS, Joyce Smock was first appointed to the Weld County Council in 1999; and,
WHEREAS, Joyce Smock was subsequently elected to the Weld County Council in 2000; and,
WHEREAS, she has contributed four years and fifteen days of her time and effort in attending to
the affairs of the Weld County Council; and,
WHEREAS, the public service of Joyce Smock was a valuable asset to the Weld County Council
and,
WHEREAS, it is fitting and proper that the people of Weld County express their thanks and
gratitude to Joyce Smock who has assisted in the implementation of the powers and procedures of the
Weld County Council;

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the people of Weld County, Colorado, through the
present Weld County C0uncil, do hereby express their appreciation to Joyce Smock for her dedicated
and valuable service on behalf of good government in Weld County, Colorado, as a member of the Weld
County Council under Home Rule in Weld County, Colorado.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by the
following vote on the 18th day of February 2003.
