The Kim soil is a deep, well drained soil.It formed in calcareous loamy alluvium from riverwash. The surface is a loam. The subsoil is a clay loam. The substratum to a depth of 60 inches or more is a loam. The soil is calcareous is throughout. This soil has a moderate permeability. The available water holding capacity is high.Roots penetrate to a depth of inches or more. Runoff is medium to rapid and the erosion hazard due to wind is moderate. The Shingle soil is a shallow, well drained soil. It fo rmed in residuum and colluvium from interbedded shale-sandstone.The surface is a clay loam,as is the underlying material to a depth of 11 inches. The soil is calcareous throughout.Shale occurs at 11 inches but ranges from 10 to 20 inches. This soil has a slow permeability. The available water holding capacity is moderate. Roots penetrate ti depth of 10 to 20 inches. Runoff is slow to medium and the erosion hazard due to wind is moderate. r .;,11';.. g1;;,;;Y*I PMR(Kieri %tA!:SiMinHI ;;ErISM,VM;IFWgtWi}•HilltilF.NSRltin^laIt MIN 4ii:ffikt:t.t.YIIP ,.::iCi i........lr 1, Friday,October 05,2001 Page 2 of 2 tii'u+i*+..; 1 LWaihMiiit..1.. i Pisa ......ah.Mltt'":giRt59 ai '1...
