RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON 35TH AVENUE
ADJACENT TO THE POUDRE RIVER BRIDGE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the
Board that"No Parking" signs be installed on 35th Avenue adjacent to the Poudre River Bridge,
to ensure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic control devices are necessary for
the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, directed to
install "No Parking" signs be installed on 35th Avenue adjacent to the Poudre River Bridge, for
the safety of the general public, and said signs shall conform to the State Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 9th day of December, A.D., 2002.

SUBJECT: "No Parking" Signs-Cache La Poudre River Bridge on
COLORADO 35th Avenue south of O Street
Commissioner Vaad requested the installation of "No Parking" signs adjacent to the Poudre River
Bridge on 35`x' Avenue. The area of the roadway adjacent to the bridge and trail is being used as
parking.
I recommend the installation of "No Parking" signs on 35th Avenue adjacent to the Poudre River
Bridge to insure the safety of the traveling public. Your attention into this matter is greatly
appreciated.
