RE: GRANT REQUEST OF CITY OF GREELEY FOR USE OF FIRST FLOOR
HALL SPACE OF COURTHOUSE FOR POLLING PLACE ON NOVEMBER 6,
1979 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley will hold a regular municipal
election on Tuesday, November 6, 1979 to elect a mayor and three
council members at large, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley has requested permission to
use the first floor hall space in the Courthouse for a polling
place on Tuesday; November 6, 1979 , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant
said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the request of the City
of Greeley for use of the first floor hall space in the Courthouse
for a polling place on Tuesday, November 6, 1979 be, and hereby
is, granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 20th day of
August, A.D. , 1979.

The City of Greeley will hold a regular municipal election on
Tuesday , November 6 , 1979 , to elect a mayor and three council
people at large .
Permission is hereby requested for the use of the following
property for a polling place :
HALL SPACE ON FIRST FLOOR OF BUILDING

It will be necessary for each polling place to be open at
6 : 00 a.m. and remain open until the judges complete their
work after the polls close at 7 : 00 p .m.
Please indicate your approval on the enclosed form and re-
turn it in the enclosed self-addressed envelope .
