RE: REGULATING, WARNING AND GUIDING TRAFFIC ON COUNTY
ROADS AND AT COUNTY ROAD INTERESECTIONS IN WELD
COUNTY, COLORADO.
WHEREAS, a multitude of complaints have been made to the Board
of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that drivers of motor
vehicles habitually drive on County Roads and through County Road Inter-
sections without regard for the general safety of drivers of other motor
vehicles, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to 1963 Colorado Revised Statutes, 13-5-69(1)
as amended, local authorities, with reference to streets or highways under
their jurisdiction, are authorized to designate through streets or highways
and to erect stop signs and/or no parking signs at specified areas and/or
specified entrances thereto, and
WHEREAS, said Board, puruuant to such complaints, has deter-
mined upon the basis of traffic and personal investigations that conditions
exist which make it necessary to regulate, warn and guide vehicular traffic
on County Roads by posting signs thereon.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Board deems it neces-
sary to regulate, warn and guide traffic on County Roads and any intersec-
tions thereof, and it hereby authorizes and orders the posting of such traffic
control devices as shall be reasonably necessary to regulate, warn and/or
guide traffic thereon for the safety of the general public and that said traffic
control devices shall conform to the State Manual and specifications.
BE IT FURTHER. RESOLVED, that the Board of County Commis-
sioners, Weld County, Colorado, does declare and establish a Fire Depart-
ment ONLY Parking zone area on the North side of WESTERN HILLS FIRE
PROTECTION DISTRICT STATION NUMBER ONE, located at 2506 - 6th

Avenue in West Greeley, Weld County, Colorado, being the South side
of said 6th Avenue; and additionally, does declare and establish an OPEN
DRIVEWAY from said WESTERN HILLS FIRE PROTECTION DISTRICT
STATION NUMBER ONE onto 25th Street, in Weld County, Colorado, all
as shown on plat as submitted by the Weld County Traffic Coordinator and
made a part hereof by reference.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 29th day of January,

4-0 Subject: Traffic Study On Or Before
A traffic study has been completed at Fire Station No. 1 located
at 25th Street and 6th Avenue. Address is 2506 - 6th Avenue.
The study was made upon request from the Fire Department.
Action taken is indicated on the attached diagram furnished by
the Fire Department. The purpose of this action is to allow
Fire Department only parking on the north side of the station
aard—Wo7153riveway from the fire station onto 25th Stree .
Your cooperation in adopting a resolution to this effect will
be appreciated.
