WATER AVAILABLITY AND SEWAGE DISPOSAL
Since we may not drill any wells or install any septic systems if this application is denied,
the planning staff initially said such permits would not be required as part of the
application. However, we have applied for two well permits and copies of those
applications and attached checks are enclosed. We have spoken with Colorado Water
Resources and permits should be issued by the end of March. We have also talked with a
water well driller familiar with the area and he stated that water is generally available and
of good quality.
We have not yet applied for septic system permits. Since the construction of septic
systems are contingent upon the outcome of this application, and any stipulations which
may be a part of it. The design of any such systems will be approved and inspected by
the Weld County Dept. of Health and the appropriate permits will be obtained.
