RESOLUTION

RE: SALARIES OF ELECTED OFFICIALS
WHEREAS, Section 13-8(1 ) of the Weld County Home Rule
Charter states that the Weld County Council shall set the
salaries of all elected officials; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has , by majority
vote , agreed that the salaries of all elected officials should
be increased for the years 1979 , 1980, 1981 and 1982;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that all Weld County elected
officials, with the exception of the Weld County Commissioners
and the Weld County Coroner , shall be paid $20, 000. 00 for the
year 1979, $21 , 500.00 for the year 1980, $23 , 000. 00 for the
year 1981 , and $24 , 500 . 00 for the year 1982 . All of said
salaries shall take effect on the first working day of each
respective year .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on Motion duly
made and seconded , adopted by the following vote on the.1,4 R--
day of March, 1978 .
