RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF TRAFFIC CONTROL DEVICES ON ARROWHEAD
DRIVE ADJACENT TO ARROWHEAD LAKE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Public Works has recommended to the
Board that "No Parking" signs be installed on the west side of Arrowhead Drive adjacent to
Arrowhead Lake, to ensure safety to the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board has determined that said traffic control devices are necessary for
the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of Public Works be, and hereby is, directed to
install "No Parking" signs on the west side of Arrowhead Drive adjacent to Arrowhead Lake, for
the safety of the general public, and said signs shall conform to the State Manual of Uniform
Traffic Control Devices.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 1st day of June, A.D., 1998.
