RE: GRANT REQUEST OF CITY OF GREELEY FOR USE OF HALL SPACE
ON THE 1ST FLOOR OF THE COURTHOUSE, AND THE WELD COUNTY
HEALTH DEPARTMENT AS POLLING PLACES FOR THE NOVEMBER 3,
1981 ELECTION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley will hold a regular municipal
election on Tuesday, November 3, 1981, to elect a mayor and
three council members by Wards, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley has requested permission to
use the following facilities owned by the County of Weld for
polling places in their November 3 , 1981 election:
Hall space on 1st Floor of Courthouse - (8003-1)
Weld County Health Department
1516 Hospital Road - (8032-2)
WHEREAS, the above-mentioned polling places will have to be
open from 6 a.m. until the judges complete their work after
the polls close at 7 : 00 p.m. , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant
said request.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the request of
the City of Greeley for use of the first floor hall space in
the Courthouse and the Weld County Health Department for polling
places on Tuesday, November 3, 1981 be, and hereby is, granted.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly
made and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 28th
day of September, A. D. , 1981.

Dear Mr. Warden :
The City of Greeley will hold a regular municipal election on
Tuesday, November 3 , 1981 , to elect a mayor and three council
people by Wards .
Permission is hereby requested for the use of the following
property for a polling place:
Hall Space on 1st Floor of Courthouse (8003-1)
and Weld County Health Department, 1516 Hospital Rd. ( 8032-2)
It will be necessary for each polling place t® be open at
6:00 a.m. and remain open until the judges complete their
work after the polls close at 7 :00 p.m.
Please indicate your approval on the enclosed form and return
it in the enclosed self-addressed envelope.
