RE: APPOINTMENTS OF MEMBERS AND ASSOCIATE MEMBERS TO THE BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, several vacancies currently exist on the Board of
Adjustment, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that the following people
be appointed to serve as members and associate members of the
Board of Adjustment:
Term to Expire
District 1: Gordon Lacy December 31 , 1983
District 5: Frank Stewart December 31, 1983
At-Large: Ruth McElrath December 31, 1982
At-Large: James Parker December 31, 1983
At-Large: Charles Erickson December 31, 1981
Associate Members
At-Large: Shirley Rein December 31, 1982
At-Large: Mark Weston December 31, 1981
At-Large: Ruby Fields December 31, 1983
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to appoint
the above mentioned people as members and associate members to
the Board of Adjustment.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commis-
sioners of Weld County, Colorado that the above mentioned people
be, and hereby are, appointed as members and associate members to
the Board of Adjustment for the terms to expire as stated herein.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 14th day of
January, A.D. , 1981.

-Dear Gordon:
This letter will serve as one of my -resignation from the Weld County
Board of adjustment, effective January 1, 1981.
Gordon, it has teen a pleasure for me to have known the existing members
o₹ the Board of Adjustment and to have served with them in that capacity,
and to have been a part of a very professional and concerned -structure
of the Weld County government.
I regret-my having to resign, but I feel I -cannot do the Board of Adjust-
ment the justice it deserves, and serve the citizens of Weld Enunty by
being absent as a have been.
Please accept my thanks and appreciation again, and -express the same to
the members. If there is any way I can serve the -Board as a non-member,
please do not -hesitate to call nn me.
