Dear Mr. Rowen:
I have reviewed your Special Review Submittal Checklist for your
shop, and the accompanying permit from the Weld County Health
Department.
The Health Department permit shows water service to the shop by
means of a well. If your service will be by a well, you have no
need of a letter from the District showing evidence of adequate
water supply. If, however, you want to use the District system as
your source, it will be necessary for you to apply for and purchase
a separate tap for your shop.
District policy is clear in the definition of residential water
taps, and allows for residential business use only if the business
is operated by the resident of the home, and is located in the same
structure. A copy of the Policy is enclosed for your information.
If you are currently serving the shop from your residential tap,
you must immediately apply for an additional tap and, if approved,
the tap must be paid immediately.
Please call if you have questions. I am returning your documents
from Weld County.
Sincerely,
fra
