RE: GRANT REQUEST OF CLERK AND RECORDER FOR USE OF WELD COUNTY COURTHOUSE AS
POLLING PLACE AND AUTHORIZE CHAIRMAN TO SIGN NECESSARY DOCUMENTS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado,
pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested
with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Primary and General Elections will be conducted on Tuesday,
August 9, 1994, and Tuesday, November 8, 1994, respectively, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Clerk and Recorder has requested permission to use
the Weld County Courthouse for a polling place, and
WHEREAS, it is necessary for the Weld County Courthouse to be open from
6:15 a.m. , until the judges complete their duties after the polls close at
7:00 p.m. , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners desires to grant said request
from the Weld County Clerk and Recorder.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the request from the Weld County Clerk and Recorder for
use of the Weld County Courthouse for a polling place on August 9, 1994 and
November 8, 1994, be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chairman be, and hereby is,
authorized to sign the necessary documents.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded,
adopted by the following vote on the 17th day of January, A.D. , 1994.

SUBJECT: Primary and General Elections
We are requesting the use of your facilities for a polling place in order to conduct
the Primary and General Elections to be held in 1994.
It will be necessary for the polling place to be open at 6:15 a.m. on the morning of
Election Day and remain open until the judges complete their duties after the polls
close at 7:00 p.m.
PRIMARY ELECTION DAY - Tuesday, August 9, 1994.
GENERAL ELECTION DAY - Tuesday, November 8, 1994.
