RE: POSTING OF YIELD AND YIELD AHEAD SIGNS ON COUNTY ROAD 46
AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH COUNTY ROAD 7 .
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has conducted a seventy-two hour traffic count on County Roads
46 and 7 , and has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners,
Weld County, Colorado, that "Yield" and "Yield Ahead" signs need to
be installed on County Road 46 for the purpose of making County
Road 7 a through street, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendations of the Department of Engineering Services and
determined that said signs are necessary for the protection of
the public safety;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the Board of County
Commissioners, Weld County, Colorado, that the Department of
Engineering Services is directed to install "Yield" and "Yield
Ahead" signs on County Road 46 at its intersection with County
Road 7 in order to make County Road 7 a through street.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on this 27th day of
September , A. D. , 1976.
