RE: APPROVE "YIELD AHEAD" AND "YIELD" SIGNS ON WELD COUNTY ROAD
42 AT ITS INTERSECTION WITH WELD COUNTY ROAD 53
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter , is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Engineering Department has requested that the
Board approve "Yield Ahead" and "Yield" signs on Weld County Road
42 at its intersection with Weld County Road 53 , said signs having
been previously erected due to obstructed vision at this
intersection , and
WHEREAS, upon the recommendation of the County engineer , the
Board deems it advisable to approve said traffic control devices
at said intersection.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado , that "Yield Ahead" and
"Yield" signs be, and hereby are , approved on Weld County Road 42
at its intersection with Weld County Road 53 to control traffic at
said intersection. Said traffic control devices , which are for
the safety of the general public , must conform to the State manual
and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 18th day of
May, A.D. , 1987 .
