name. The following symbols are shown on your map:

11e3 on B slope Ascalon sandy loam
This is a deep, well drained soil with a moderatley
55 - C light textured surface soil and a medium testured sub-
111e6 on C slope soil. Water intake is medium to rapid and the water
holding capacity is fair to good. Water erosion hazard
is moderate.
• 55A-B Olney loamy sand
111e9 on B slope The is a deenk well drained soil with a light textured
surface and medium textured subsoil. Water intake rate
is medium to rapid. Water holding capacity is fair to
poor. Organic matter level is low and wind erosion is
a hazard.
34-AB Wet loan* soils /
111w1 This is a deep, poorly drained soil with a medium textured
surface and medium textured subsoil. The soil is mottled
from 10 inches downward and may have a watertable within
60 inches. The soil is moderately saline. Careful manage-
ment is needed to keep these soils Brom becoming too wet
to cultitate
51-C Vona loamy sand
1Ve7 This soil is deep and well drained soil with a light textured
surface and moderately light textured subsoil. The subsoil
is weakly developed. Water intake rate is rapid and the water
holding capacity low. Organic matter level is low and wind
erosion is a hazard.
B - B Vona sandy loam
11e8 on B slope This series is similar to the one above except the texture
51B - C of both the surface and subsoil is somewhat heavier. . .a
111e6 on C slope sandy loam instead of the loamy sand.
