RESOLUTION
WHEREAS, Robert P. Martin has resigned from the
Weld County Council ; and
WHEREAS, a replacement to fill his Weld County
Council at large position is required; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has authority by
the Home Rule Charter to appoint a replacement for a
resigning Council member; and
WHEREAS, the present Weld County Council has
interviewed eight applicants for this position; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council finds Donald A.
Elliott to be the most qualified of those seeking this
position.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the members
of the Weld County Council do hereby appoint Donald A.
Elliott as an at large County Council member.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on Motion
duly made and seconded, adopted by the following vote
on the 1st day of May, 1982.
