Re: Regular Meetings of the Weld County Council
WHEREAS, Section 13-4-(3) of the Weld County Home Rule Charter specifies that regular meetings of the Council shall be
held at least monthly on a day or days to be determined by the
Council by resolution; and
WHEREAS, Section 13-4-(3) of the Weld County Home Rule
Charter allows the Weld County Council to determine its meeting
times by Resolution; and
WHEREAS, there may be a need for night meetings of the
Weld County Council ; and
WHEREAS, it has been suggested that meetings of the
Council be held periodically in the rural towns of Weld County; and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Council has considered such
suggestions

to be held at times and places to be announced by the President, or
in his absence, the Vice President, and

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that from this day forward
the regular meetings of the Weld County Council shall be held at
least once a month at a time and place to be announced by the President,
or in his absence, the Vice President.
The above and foregoing Resolution was adopted by the
following vote on the sixth day of June, 1985.
