RE: APPROVE CHANGE IN POLLING PLACES FOR 1996 ELECTIONS
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1-5-101(1), CRS, and pursuant to the recommendation of
the Weld County Clerk and Recorder, the Board did, by Resolution dated August 7, 1995, establish
Weld County Polling Places for 1996, and
WHEREAS, it has now been recommended by the Clerk and Recorder that certain polling
places for the 1996 elections be changed, and
WHEREAS, approval is needed for the following precincts:
60108 First United Methodist Church from Courthouse
917 10th Avenue, Greeley
60321 Odd Fellows Hall from Michener Library
2532 9th Avenue, Greeley
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to approve said changes to the 1996 Polling
Places for Weld County as above stated.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that the above stated changes to the 1996 Polling Places for Weld County be, and
hereby are, approved.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted by
the following vote on the 24th day of January, A.D., 1996.
