RE: INSTALLATION OF "STOP" SIGNS IN CARMACAR RANCHETTES.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Department of Engineering Services
has recommended to the Board of County Commissioners of Weld
County, Colorado, that "stop" signs be installed in Carmacar
Ranchettes at the intersections of Mountain View Street and County
Road No. 5, Pikes Peak Street and County Road No. 5 , and Spruce
Drive and County Road No. 5 to insure safety to the traveling
public, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendation of the Department of Engineering Services , and
has determined that said "stop" signs are necessary to insure
safety to the traveling public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado, that said Board deems it ad-
visable and in the best interest of Weld County to install "stop"
signs at the intersections of Mountain View Street and County
Road No. 5, Pikes Peak Street and County Road No. 5, and Spruce
Drive and County Road No. 5, all in Carmacar Ranchettes for the
safety of the general public, and that said signs must conform to
the State manual and specifications.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of

To insure safety to the traveling public it is necessary
to install stop signs in Carmacar Ranchettes as per
attached sketch according to the manual on Uniform Traffic
Control Devices 2B-5 (2) .
Would you please adopt the necessary resolution for
these stop signs .
