RE: ESTABLISHING POLLING PLACES FOR 1997 ELECTION
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 1-5-102.5, CRS, and pursuant to the recommendation
of J. A. "Suki" Tsukamoto, Weld County Clerk and Recorder, the Board is required to establish
polling places for the 1997 coordinated general election by August 6, 1997, and
WHEREAS, Ms. Tsukamoto has presented to the Board a list of polling places in Weld
County for the 1997 coordinated general election, a copy of said list being attached hereto and
incorporated herein by reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to establish the polling places in Weld County
for the 1997 coordinated general election, as indicated on the above referenced list.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the polling places in Weld County for the 1997 coordinated general
election be, and hereby are, established as indicated on the attached list.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 23rd day of July, A.D., 1997.
