RE: APPROVAL OF 4-WAY STOP AT INTERSECTION OF WELD COUNTY ROAD 13
AND WELD COUNTY ROAD 18 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineering Department has recom-
mended that the intersection of Weld County Road 13 and Weld
County Road 18 be made into a 4-way stop to insure safety to the
traveling public, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied the
recommendations of the Department of Engineering Services and
has determined that the installation of "stop" signs at said
intersection is necessary for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Department of
Engineering is directed to install "stop" signs at the intersec-
tion of Weld County Road 13 and Weld County Road 18 for the safety
of the general public and that said signs must conform to the
State manual and specifications .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 3rd day of
December, A.D. , 1979 .

Subject. Installation of Traffic Control Devices on Weld County Road 13
For safety of the travelling public, it is recommended that the new intersection
of Weld County Road 13 and Weld County Road 18 be made into a 4-way stop. The
sight distances approaching from the south curve and the tracks on the east are
restricted. It is expected that this will be a busy intersection.
