RE: APPROVE INSTALLATION OF "NO LEFT TURN" AND "NO RIGHT TURN"
SIGNS ON WCR 90 NEAR TOWN OF PIERCE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , due to the establishment of a one-way street, the
Town of Pierce has requested permission to install "No Left Turn"
and "No Right Turn" signs to control the traffic on Second Street
at its intersection with Weld County Road 90 to insure the safety
of the traveling public, and
WHEREAS, upon recommendation of the Town of Pierce and the
Department of Engineering, the Board has determined that said
traffic control devices are necessary for the protection of the
general public .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, that the Town of Pierce
be, and hereby is, authorized to install "No Left Turn" and "No
Right Turn" signs to control the traffic on Second Street at its
intersection with Weld County Road 90 , said signs must conform to
the State manual and specifications and are for the safety of the
general public.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 11th day of
January, A.D. , 1989 .
