RE: ACCEPTANCE OF DONATION OF REMODELING AND IMPROVEMENTS TO
COUNTY BUILDINGS
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , the Colorado Ag Education Inc. has offered to
donate to Weld County certain improvements to County buildings
for the following purposes and estimated amounts;
1 . Carpet upstairs of the 4-H Building, estimated amount,
$3, 637 . 00 .
2 . Window covering 4-H Building, estimated amount, $1 ,128 . 00 .
3. Electrical outlets 4-H Auditorium, estimated amount,
$412 . 00 .
4 . Passage way between Exhibition Building and 4-H Building,
estimated amount, $4 ,000 . 00 .
5 . Partition removal, estimated amount, $360 .00 .
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners believe the
improvements would enhance the County facilities and enhance the
farm show held annually in Weld County.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County that the above donated projects are
hereby accepted and that the Director of Building and Grounds is
hereby directed to work with Colorado Ag Education Inc. in
accomplishing the above improvements as soon as possible.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 25th day of
July, A.D. , 1984 .
