Approve Reappointments to 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board
Whereas, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
Whereas, the terms for certain positions on the 911 Emergency Telephone Service
Authority Board will soon expire, and
Whereas, the Weld County Board of Commissioners deems it advisable to reappoint
Lieutenant William Carnes to said board as the City of Fort Lupton Appointee, to reappoint
Chief Dave Strossner to said board as the County Appointee, and to reappoint
Jason Edwards to said board as the City of Greeley Appointee, all with terms to expire
January 11, 2028.
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Lieutenant William Carnes, Chief Dave Strossner, and Jason Edwards be,
and hereby are, reappointed to the 911 Emergency Telephone Service Authority Board,
all with terms to expire January 11, 2028.
The Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, approved the above
and foregoing Resolution, on motion duly made and seconded, by the following vote on
the 26th day of January, A.D., 2026:
