RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO ESTABLISH CAPITAL
EXPENDITURES FUND.
WHEREAS , the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado Statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS , it has been determined with the passage of HB 1246
that there is a need to set up a new capital fund through the
Weld County Treasurer' s Office, for the administration of capital
expenditures and eliminate the Public Works Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County
Commissioners of Weld County that the Capital Expenditure Fund
be, and hereby is, introduced into the Weld County Accounting
system, and that the Weld County Treasurer is hereby authorized
to establish said funds accordingly.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners
that all monies in the Public Works Fund shall be transferred to
the Capital Expenditures Fund and be accounted for in accordance
with HB 1246 .
The above and foregoing Resolution was , on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 2nd day of
July, A.D. , 1984 , nunc pro tunc the 5th day of April, A.D. , 1984 .
