Dear Mr. Lee:
We have reviewed the June 11 , 1982 letter from Mr. L. M. McBride to
Mr. Bob Clark of the NRC submitting a revision to Chapter 9 of the
amended Security Plan for the Fort St. Vrain Nuclear Generating
Station. The revision was submitted pursuant to the requirements
of 10 CFR 73.20. We have determined that, when implemented, the
revised Chapter 9 will satisfy the required capabilities of 10 CFR
73.45. The revision is, therefore, approved.
As discussed with members of your staff on December 15, 1982, we
will issue a License Amendment in the near future to update the
existing license condition on Physical Protection to incorporate
the latest revisions to the Security Plan.
