WHEREAS, Weld County is in need of earth material for the construction of County roads, and WHEREAS, Owner owns certain land on which there is earth material suitable for use in construction of County roads. NOW, THEREFORE, Owner and Weld County agree that Weld County may use its equipment to remove the earth material from Owner's land. We will use about 10,000 cubic yards this year to gravel 14 miles of Weld County Road 122 from U.S. 85 to Weld County Road 55. If the County will give Mr. Tucker this contract, he will get the necessary State Mined Land Permits and County SUP. Even though we propose to pay $0.60 per yard, the closeness of the source to the haul site more than compensates by reducing fuel costs. Wayne S.
