RESOLUTION
RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR CHAIRMAN TO SIGN QUIT CLAIM DEEDS TO THE
° CITY OF GREELEY CONCERNING FIRST AVENUE AND 23RD AVENUE
o WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
O
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
.o
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
O
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley has installed facilities for
the transportation of water and sewage along the Weld County
right of way on First Avenue and 23rd Avenue, and
WHEREAS, Weld County has waived all County permit fees
involved in said projects in consideration for the City of
Greeley performing all road maintenance on the Weld County por-
tions of First Avenue and 23rd Avenue, and
WHEREAS, the City of Greeley desires to obtain title to
said portions of First Avenue and 23rd Avenue as more fully
set forth in the attached deeds, and
WHEREAS, Weld County desires to quit claim the rights of
way to the City of Greeley in order that the City of Greeley
may maintain said roads, and
WHEREAS-, Quit Claim deeds have been prepared concerning
the above stated matter and the Board of County Commissioners
deems it advisable to authorize the Chairman of the Board to
sign said Quit Claim deeds.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Chairman of the
Board be, and hereby is, authorized to sign the Quit Claim
deeds to the City of Greeley concerning First Avenue and 23rd
Avenue.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
