A public hearing was conducted on April 19, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:

The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 3, 2000, and duly published April 6, 2000, in
the South Weld Sun, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Robert Pittington
for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special Review Permit#1256 for an Excavation Business
in the A (Agricultural)Zone District. Lee Morrison, Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter
of record. Chris Gathman, Department of Planning Services, stated the applicant wishes to
withdrawal this application. He explained the purchase of this property was contingent on the sale
of another property; however, that sale fell through and this application is no longer an option. In
response to Commissioner Geile, Mr. Gathman stated there is nothing stored on the subject
property at this time. Chair Kirkmeyer clarified the application for a Site Specific Development Plan
and Special Review Permit#1256 for an Excavation Business in the A(Agricultural)Zone District
for Robert Pittington has been withdrawn at the request of the applicant and no action is required.

To whom it may concern:
Robert and Helen Pittington are withdrawing their request for a special review on
the property at 0522 Hwy 60 in Weld County
Because our contract to sell our current place fell through, we will not be able to
excercise our option to purchase this property, Therefore, we have no need for this
hearing.
