RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM WILLIAM AND JOYCE RHOTON TO PRE-ADVERTISE
SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from William and Joyce Rhoton, 39260
Weld County Road 68, Briggsdale, Colorado 80611, for pre-advertisement of an application for
a Use by Special Review Permit for a Home Business (repair shop) in the A (Agricultural) Zone
District, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as the SW1/4 SW1/4 of Section 22, Township 6
North, Range 62 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as May 10, 2000, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from William and Joyce Rhoton for pre-advertisement
of an application for a Use by Special Review Permit for a Home Business (repair shop) in the
A (Agricultural) Zone District be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as May 10, 2000, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 20th day of March, A.D., 2000.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Pre-advertisement
William and Joyce Rhoton have submitted a request to pre-advertise the application for Use by
Special Review Permit #1266, which will be heard by the Planning Commission on May 2, 2000.
If you wish to approve this request, a hearing before the Board be set for May 10 or 17, 2000,
will allow adequate time for advertising. In the normal course of scheduling, the hearing would
be set for no earlier than May 24, 2000.

We are writing to submit a request for pre-notification on a USR. We are asking for a
week to 10 days if possible, since this would put us to approximately the beginning r! ?
Spring time is a busy season for repairs on a!nicultural equipment. which is pan 001 :nn
livelihood. Repair work is a large part of our income and with the rtme needed to nrcpt;=e
for the USR and to follow procedure with the 45 day minimum each dt' longer k
us more than we can afford.
