RE: GRANT REQUEST FROM RONALD AND CLAUDIA OLSON TO PRE-ADVERTISE A
SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT

WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Ronald and Claudia Olson, 3019
Weld County Road 20.5, Longmont, Colorado 80504, for pre-advertisement of an application
for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit#1265 in the
Agricultural Zone District for a business permitted as a Use by Right in the Industrial Zone
District, and
WHEREAS, said property is described as Lot A of RE#1060, being part of the W1/2
NW 1/4 of Section 15, Township 2 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County,
Colorado, and
WHEREAS, after study and review the Board deems it advisable to grant said request,
with the hearing date to be set as May 17, 2000, at 10:00 a.m.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the request from Ronald and Claudia Olson for pre-advertisement
of an application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit
#1265 in the Agricultural Zone District for a business permitted as a Use by Right in the
Industrial Zone District be, and hereby is, granted.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the hearing date to consider said
request be, and hereby is, set as May 17, 2000, at 10:00 a.m.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
nbby the following vote on the 24th day of April, A.D., 2000.

COLORADO SUBJECT: Request for Preadvertisement
Ronald Olson has submitted an application for a Site Specific Development Plan and Special
Review Permit #1265 in the Agricultural Zone District for a business permitted as a Use by Right
in the Industrial Zone District, which will be heard by the Planning Commission on May 2, 2000.
He has requested this matter be preadvertised and has paid the appropriate fee. If you wish to
approve this request, a hearing before the Board on May 17, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. will allow
adequate time for advertising and would also allow this matter to be heard by the Board prior to
action being taken on his violation.
