RE: APPROVAL TO POST THE INTERSECTION OF 26TH STREET AND
51ST AVENUE COURT AS A 4-WAY STOP
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home
Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the
affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Weld County Engineer has recommended that the
intersection of 26th Street and 51st Avenue Court be posted as a
4-way stop to insure safety to the traveling public , and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners has studied
the recommendation of the Weld County Engineer and has determined
that the posting of said intersection as a 4-way stop is necessary
for the protection of the general public.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Com-
missioners of Weld County, Colorado that the Department of
Engineering Services be, and hereby is , directed to post the
intersection of 26th Street and 51st Avenue as a 4-way stop.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made
and seconded, adopted by the following vote on the 8th day of
August, A.D. , 1983 .
