RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT AND REAPPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF RETIREMENT
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Board of Retirement, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Drew Scheltinga be appointed to said board
as the employee representative, to replace Dave Becker, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that William Hedberg be reappointed to said
board as a public member representative, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Drew Scheltinga to said board, with
his term to expire July 31, 2001; and to reappoint William Hedberg to said board , with his term
to expire July 31, 2004.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Drew Scheltinga be, and hereby is, appointed to the Board of
Retirement, with his term to expire July 31, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that William Hedberg be, and hereby is, reappointed to the Board of Retirement, with
his term to expire July 31, 2004.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 12th day of July, A.D., 2000.
