IN THE MATTER OF SETTING THE MILL LEVY FOR THE ANNUAL
APPROPRIATION FOR WELD COUNTY, COLORADO FOR THE FISCAL YEAR
1985 .
N p BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF COUNTY COMMISSIONERS OF WELD
o U COUNTY, COLORADO:
That it is necessary, by Colorado statutes, and by the Home
ca Rule Charter of Weld County, Colorado, to set the annual mill
ora levy for the annual appropriation for Weld County, Colorado, for
o g the fiscal year 1985 , and
voiw WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of the County of
Weld has adopted the annual budget in accordance with the Local
p Government Budget Law, on November 13 , 1984 , and

o WHEREAS, the amount of money necessary to balance the

Z WHEREAS , the 1984 valuation for assessment for the County
o of Weld as certified by the County Assessor is $820 ,747 ,830 for
a budget year 1985 .
Wa NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED by the Board of County
o, co Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado that for the purpose of
r meeting all legal expenses under Sections 29-1-301 through
29-1-305 , CRS , as amended, and Section 14-7 of the Weld County
w W Home Rule Charter, there is hereby levied the following mills
upon each dollar of the total valuation for assessment of all
taxable property within the County for the fiscal year 1985 :

BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that the County Assessor and the
County Treasurer of Weld County, Colorado, be, and hereby are,
authorized and directed to make such entries upon their books,
at such time or times as will be necessary to make this mill
levy Ordinance for the annual appropriation for Weld County,
No u Colorado, for the fiscal year 1985 , effective.

O BE IT FURTHER ORDAINED that an emergency exists inasmuch as
v State law requires that the mill levy of Weld County, Colorado,
O be enacted on or before the 31st day of December, 1984 , and,
o 0 3 therefore, this Ordinance is declared to be an emergency
Ordinance under the provisions of Section 3-14 of the Weld
o x County Home Rule Charter.
