Dear Mr. Harper,
This letter is in response to your request to remove the existing 6' wooden fence along the
western property line. Planning Staff agrees that this is not a substantial change to the existing
Use by Special Review Permit (USR-860). The fence may be removed without obtaining an
amendment to USR-860.
Although the removal of the fence will not require an amendment to the existing USR, any
additional changes must be reviewed by Planning Staff to determine if an amendment would be
required.

Dear Ms. Lockman,
As we discussed I am providing you with a request to remove an existing 6' wooden fence along the western
property line of the above-mentioned property. I have found nothing within the USR that would preclude me
from doing so. I do not want to violate any development requirements associated with the USR and am
therefore requesting written permission from the Weld County Planning Department to remove and/or replace
the existing fence if and when I so choose.
