EASEMENT
I , John DeJournett, of 1813 Fetterman Street, Casper, Wyoming 82601,
for good and valuable consideration hereby grant, bargain and convey to the County
of Weld, State of Colorado, a permanent easement and right-of•way more particularly
described and designated over and across lands owned by me, said easement being
more particularly described as follows :
The West ten feet of the following described property: The East
half of the west 384. 12 feet of the south 1,020.63 feet of the
west half of the southeast quarter located in the Section 3, Town-
ship 2 North, Range 67 West, of the 6th P.M. , Weld County, Colorado.
The easement and right-of-way hereby conveyed is for the sole purpose of
locating, establishing, constructing, and maintaining over and across the above
described land a drain consisting of a drain ditch approximately 18 inches wide
and 12 inches deep to carry drain water from Weld County Road 24 to the north end
of your property.

Dear Mr. DeJournett: •
Despite the work that we did on the Weld County Road in front of your
property recently, there is still a problem of drainage water from the
north side of the road ponding on yours and the Crane ' s property to
your west. We visited the site the other day and talked to the Crane ' s.
They advised me that you would be agreeable to granting the County an
easement for a small drain ditch along the west edge of your property.
On the assumption that you would like to have this taken care of right
away, we are going ahead with the project and I am enclosing a copy of
an easement for you to sign to grant the County the right to maintain
this ditch. I think it will improve your property values, as well as,
provide us with a place to drain the water.
If you have any questions , please contact me. Please have this agreement
notarized.
