RE: APPROVE AGREEMENT FOR 2000 PAVEMENT TESTING PROGRAM AND
AUTHORIZE CHAIR TO SIGN - STANTEC CONSULTING, INC.
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, the Board has been presented with a Agreement for 2000 Pavement
Testing Program between the County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of
County Commissioners of Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and
Stantec Consulting, Inc., commencing July 10, 2000, and ending September 15, 2000, with
further terms and conditions being as stated in said agreement, and
WHEREAS, after review, the Board deems it advisable to approve said agreement, a
copy of which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that the Agreement for 2000 Pavement Testing Program between the
County of Weld, State of Colorado, by and through the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, on behalf of the Department of Public Works, and Stantec Consulting, Inc. be,
and hereby is, approved.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board that the Chair be, and hereby is, authorized
to sign said agreement.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 5th day of June, A.D., 2000.

AGREEMENT
THIS AGREEMENT, made this 19th day of May , 2000, by and between THE BOARD OF WELD
COUNTY COMMISSIONERS, and
Stantec Consulting Inc.
doing business as
Stantec Consulting Inc.
hereinafter called "Contractor".
WITNESSETH: That for and in consideration of the payments and agreements hereinafter mentioned:
1. The Contractor will commence and complete the:
2000 PAVEMENT TESTING PROGRAM
As per received proposal dated April 5, 2000
2. The Contractor shall furnish all material, supplies, tools, equipment, labor and other
services necessary for the construction and completion of the project described herein.
3. The Contractor shall commence the work required by the Contract Documents on o-
about July 10, 2000 , and shall complete the work by September 15, 2000, unless the
period for completion is extended otherwise by the Contract Documents.
4. The Contractor agrees to perform all of the work described in the Contract Documents
and comply with the terms of herein for the sum of:
Thirty three thousand, thirty four Dollars ($33,034.00).
for the project 2000 PAVEMENT TESTING PROGRAM
5. The County will pay the Contractor in the manner and at such time as set forth in the
General Conditions such amounts required by the Contract Documents.
6. This Agreement shall be binding upon all parties hereto and their respective heirs,
executors, administrators, successors, and assigns.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have executed, or caused to be executed by their duly
authorized officials, this Agreement, each of which shall be deemed an original on the date first written
above.
