OF PLANNING o?oa7- /0El it EXHIBIT g 9465 Weld County Road 7 Longmont, CO 80504 May 16, 2000 Weld County Board of County Commissioners Greeley, CO SUBJECT: May 17, 2000 Hearing— Ron& Claudia Olson-Use by Special Review (USIt (3019 Weld County Road 20-1/2, Longmont, CO 80504) Dear County Commissioners: We would like to comment about the commercial business in operation at 3019 Weld County Road 20-1/2, located just north and east of our property. We are very disappointed that the county has allowed a trucking business to be in operation in our agricultural-residential zoned area. We feel the owners did not attempt to comply with county regulations and ordinances prior to starting their business, which has been in operation approximately 6 months. A few of our concerns are with the noise, fumes, traffic, maintenance and storage of a number of semi-trucks in our residential area. Because we are unable to attend the hearing, we would like to make our concerns known to the planning commission about our dissatisfaction with the Olson's business located at their residence, which is clearly in violation.
