RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENTS TO FAIR BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, vacancies currently exist on the Fair Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Jane Evans Cornelius be appointed to said
board to replace Evelyn Hoffman; Kenny Richardson be appointed to replace Terry Maxwell;
and Trent Hollister be appointed to replace Jim Heird, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Trent Hollister to said board, with
his term to expire October 31, 2001; and appoint Jane Evans Cornelius and Kenny Richardson
to said board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Trent Hollister be, and hereby is, appointed to the Fair Board, with
his terms to expire October 31, 2001.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County,
Colorado, that Jane Evans Cornelius and Kenny Richardson be, and hereby are, appointed to
the Fair Board, with their terms to expire October 31, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 31st day of January, A.D., 2000.
