A public hearing was conducted on April 26, 2000, at 10:00 a.m., with the following present:
Commissioner Barbara J. Kirkmeyer, Chair
Commissioner M. J. Geile, Pro-Tem
Commissioner George E. Baxter
Commissioner Dale K. Hall
Commissioner Glenn Vaad
Also present:
Acting Clerk to the Board, Esther Gesick
Assistant County Attorney, Lee Morrison
Public Works representative, Don Carroll
The following business was transacted:
I hereby certify that pursuant to a notice dated April 10, 2000, and sent to surrounding property
owners, a public hearing was conducted to consider the request of Jim Docheff, Docheff Dairy for
a Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1257 for an Agricultural
Service Establishment for a Livestock Confinement Operation (dairy) and an Animal Feeding
Operation for 1,800 head of cattle and 24 horses in the A(Agricultural)Zone District. Lee Morrison,
Assistant County Attorney, made this a matter of record. Chair Kirkmeyer stated in response to
a Memorandum from the Clerk to the Board, dated April 20, 2000, the Board of Commissioners
indicated its desire to continue this matter to Monday, May 15, 2000, at 10:00 a.m. and authorized
the Clerk to the Board to send Corrected Notices to surrounding property owners to allow adequate
time for publication.
Commissioner Hall moved to continue the request of Jim Docheff, Docheff Dairy,for a Site Specific
Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1257 for an Agricultural Service
Establishment for a Livestock Confinement Operation (dairy)and an Animal Feeding Operation for
1,800 head of cattle and 24 horses in the A(Agricultural)Zone District, to Monday, May 15, 2000,
at 10:00 a.m., to allow adequate time to publish a corrected notice. The motion was seconded by
Commissioner Baxter, and it carried unanimously.
