RE: AUTHORIZATION FOR THE WELD COUNTY TREASURER TO CANCEL COUNTY
TAX LIEN SALE CERTIFICATE
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, Arthur L. Willis, II, Weld County Treasurer, has requested authorization to
cancel County Tax Lien Sale Certificate Number 9/94, with descriptions of said certificates and
the properties they encumber being set forth in a letter from Mr. Willis to the Board of County
Commissioners, dated January 4, 2000, which is attached hereto and incorporated herein by
reference, and
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners deems it advisable to cancel said
County Tax Lien Sale Certificate as requested by the Weld County Treasurer, pursuant to
Section 39-10-114, C.R.S.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Arthur L. Willis, II, Weld County Treasurer, be, and hereby is,
authorized to cancel said County Tax Lien Sale Certificate.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 17th day of January, A.D., 2000.

MEMO TO: WELD COUNTY COMMISSIONERS
On NOVEMBER 3, 1994 Tax Lien Sale Certificate 9/94 was sold to BRADLEY WILLIAM &
BARBARA ANN HARRIS for the following property:
PARCEL#096120402011
LEGAL DESCRIPTION: EVS 13108-A PT W2 VAC TARRYAL ST ADJ L26-27-28 OF
SEA 20 5 65 & ADJ N2 11TH ST (NOW 35TH ST)
I am hereby asking for TS CERT 9/94 to be canceled because of a second tax lien sale certificate
of purchase was sold on NOVEMBER 2, 1995 to GREG MEIER. GREG MEIER made
application for a Treasurer's Deed to the property and at that time BRADLEY WILLIAM &
BARBARA ANN HARRIS were notified and given the opportunity to endorse all subsequent
taxes onto their certificate and make application for a Treasurer's Deed themselves. BRADLEY
WILLIAM &BARBARA ANN HARRIS chose not to take any action. The Treasurer's Deed
was issued APRIL 9, 1999 to GREG MEIER. This created the need of a resolution by the Board
of County Commissioners to cancel TS CERT 9/94.
No authorization of refund to BRADLEY WILLIAM & BARBARA ANN HARRIS due to the
circum ez'de4drditled above.
