HomeMy WebLinkAbout20002034 X40 RESOLUTION RE:: APPROVE VACATION OF SITE SPECIFIC DEVELOPMENT PLAN AND USE BY SPECIAL REVIEW PERMIT#1161 FORA COMMERCIAL USE (CUSTOM WOODWORKING SHOP) IN THE A (AGRICULTURAL) ZONE DISTRICT - PAUL AND ANN LINN WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and WHEREAS, by Resolution dated September 10, 1997, the Board did approve Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1161 for a Commercial Use (custom woodworking shop) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, for Paul and Ann Linn on the following described real estate, to-wit: S1/2NW1/4, N1/2SW1/4 of Section 8, Township 3 North, Range 68 West of the 6th P.M., Weld County, Colorado WHEREAS, the Board has received a request from Paul and Ann Linn, 16376 Weld County Road 3, Berthoud, Colorado 80513, to vacate said Site Specific Development Plan and Use by Special Review Permit #1161 for a Commercial Use (custom woodworking shop) in the A (Agricultural) Zone District, and WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners heard all of the testimony and statements of those present, studied the request of the applicant and the recommendatiors of the Department of Planning Services staff and all of the exhibits and evidence presented in this matter and, having been fully informed, deems it advisable to approve said vacation. As I stated in that letter I want to release my current USR-1161 on the property located at 1234 34-3A road. This is to allow Triple B Trees and Shrubs the opportunity to gain final approval on pending 17SR-1273. The north building located on the property will serve as a storage facility for us as well as the Berg's (Owners of Triple B) for the next six months. It is agreed by both parties (the Linn's and the Berg's) that we will share this building to store personal items as well as odds and ends that both families have acquired. This building was always designed and intended to serve as a storage facility.
