RE: APPROVE APPOINTMENT OF BETTY LEE TO COMMUNITY CORRECTIONS
BOARD
WHEREAS, the Board of County Commissioners of Weld County, Colorado, pursuant to
Colorado statute and the Weld County Home Rule Charter, is vested with the authority of
administering the affairs of Weld County, Colorado, and
WHEREAS, a vacancy currently exists on the Community Corrections Board, and
WHEREAS, it has been recommended that Betty Lee be appointed to said board as the
at-large representative, to replace Juan Lopez, and
WHEREAS, the Board deems it advisable to appoint Betty Lee to said board, with her
term to expire August 1, 2002.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of County Commissioners of
Weld County, Colorado, that Betty Lee be, and hereby is, appointed to the Community
Corrections Board, with her term to expire August 1, 2002.
The above and foregoing Resolution was, on motion duly made and seconded, adopted
by the following vote on the 27th day of March, A.D., 2000.
